Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided by Ask Ollo Limited, covering AI-powered platform services for connecting, searching, and interacting with data sources using AI agents and agentic workflows.
1A. Definitions
Key terms defined include: Connected Data Source (third-party systems connected via OAuth, service account, or API key), Federated Search (real-time querying of Connected Data Sources where source content is not persistently copied or indexed by ollo), Created Data (content created or stored by the Service at user direction, including uploads, synced copies, saved prompts, AI-generated outputs, and agent artifacts), Third-Party Services, Agent (feature enabling content generation and workflow automation), Agent Developer Features, Beta Features, Personal Data, and Security Incident.
2. Beta Uses
Beta Services are offered "as-is" to allow testing and evaluation. ollo expressly disclaims all warranties for Beta Services including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
3. Registration and Access
Users must be at least 18 years old. Individual users may create accounts for personal or organisational use. Users represent they have authority to bind their organisation and must provide accurate information, with responsibility for all credential-based activities.
4.1 Permitted and Prohibited Uses
Permitted Uses: Users may query public and private information for professional development and learning.
Prohibited Uses: Users cannot infringe rights, reverse engineer the platform, scrape data, make Services accessible to children under 18, or use personal information of minors.
4.3 Disallowed Content and Activities
ollo prohibits the use of our Services for illegal activity, child exploitation material, hateful content, violence, malware, high-risk activities (weapons, critical infrastructure), self-harm content, economic harm activities, fraud, pseudo-pharmaceuticals, adult content, and high-risk government information.
5. Third Party Services and Data Source Integration
5.1 Third-party services are governed by their own terms. ollo does not control and is not responsible for Third-Party Service availability, changes, data handling, or acts/omissions.
5.2 Users authorise ollo to access connected data sources according to granted permissions. Users warrant they hold the necessary rights and acknowledge connected sources remain under third-party control.
5.3 Data from your connected third-party sources does not leave the original data source and is not stored by ollo unless explicitly synced. Only search results and metadata return to users.
5.4 Upon revocation of access, ollo cannot access that source. Created Data from that source is retained per the 90-day retention policy. No new data is retrieved post-revocation.
5.5 ollo targets 99% uptime but disclaims responsibility for third-party outages, API changes, data loss, or performance degradation. Where third-party services cause unavailability, service credits don't apply except for pass-through credits received.
6. Content and Data
6.1 You retain all ownership rights to your Data and own Outputs generated for you. ollo assigns to you any intellectual property it owns in Outputs, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.
6.2 Created Data is hosted in the United States. Connected source data not synced remains in its original location under third-party control.
6.3 Output may not be unique across users. The Services may generate the same or similar results for different users.
6.4 ollo does not use your Input, Output, Created Data, or content from Connected Data Sources to train, improve, or develop its artificial intelligence models. Data serves only to provide the Services and is not incorporated into training datasets.
6.5 Created Data will be automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity by default. Upon account termination, Created Data is deleted within 90 days unless legal retention is required.
6.5A Synced Content (Opt-In): Synced content becomes Created Data and may be indexed. Synced data is encrypted at rest and hosted in the region you select. Users control inclusion/exclusion rules and retention.
6.5B Service may route requests to model providers or infrastructure subprocessors. A current list is available upon request, governed by the Data Processing Addendum.
7. AI Agents
7.1 The Services include AI agent functionality that can perform actions on your behalf, including searching connected data sources, retrieving information, and executing workflows. Agents are off by default and must be enabled by you or your admin. Agents operate only within configured scopes.
7.2 By enabling agents, users authorise them to access data sources and perform actions within established permissions and acknowledge agents only perform actions within explicitly enabled scopes. Users may require human approval for specified actions and set execution windows. Agents do not continue running after session end unless you schedule a task.
7.2B ollo records Agent Action Logs with details retained for 90 days and exportable by admins.
7.2C Tools and SDKs allow building custom Agents. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
7.3 Organisational users may configure data scope limitations restricting agent access to specific sources, establish role-based permissions, audit activity, and set organisational policies.
7.4 Agents operate per third-party terms and limits. ollo is not responsible for actions taken by third-party services in response to agent requests, availability, or performance.
7.5 Prohibited AI Agent uses include: engaging in prohibited activities, high-risk activities (automated credit/employment decisions, critical infrastructure, surveillance, unauthorised financial transactions), circumventing rate limits, violating laws, or deploying in ways causing harm.
7.6 AI agents operate based on probabilistic machine learning models and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected results. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs, with human oversight required for high-stakes uses.
7.7 ollo is not liable for any damages arising from AI agent actions, errors, or omissions. Liability is capped at the amount paid in the preceding 12 months, excluding indirect/consequential damages. Users indemnify ollo against third-party claims.
7.8 ollo reserves the right to monitor agent usage for compliance, suspend/terminate functionality for violations, and implement additional safeguards.
8. Accuracy, Completeness and Reliability
Utilisation of our Services may result in output that is incorrect and does not accurately reflect the input or query. Users should evaluate relevance through human review.
9. Intellectual Property
All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site are owned or controlled by us. 12.3 Users are responsible for all taxes on purchases and must provide payment documentation. ollo uses the name and address in your account registration as the place of supply.
13. Confidentiality, Security, and Data Protection

13.4 Users processing personal data under GDPR must provide privacy notices and obtain necessary consents, confirming compliance with applicable laws.
13.5 You are solely responsible for all data that you transmit and agree ollo has no liability for data loss or corruption.
13.6 A Data Processing Addendum ("DPA") may be executed separately, governing personal data processing with Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
14. Termination
14.1 You have the right to terminate these Terms at any time by discontinuing use. ollo may terminate for any reason or immediately for substantial breaches, third-party relationship changes, or legal compliance needs.
14.2 Upon termination, users must cease use and return or destroy confidential information. Sections relating to Content, Confidentiality, Indemnification, and Liability survive termination.
15. Indemnification, Disclaimer, and Limitations on Liability
15.1 You agree to protect, indemnify, and hold us, our affiliates, and our personnel harmless from claims arising from your use of the Services, AI agents, or breaches of these Terms.
15.2 The Services are provided "as is." ollo expressly disclaims all warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free service.
15.3 ollo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Prior to initiating any formal legal action, users must notify legal@askollo.com with dispute details. Resolution will be sought within 60 days; applicable statutes of limitations are suspended during this period.
16.2 The European Commission online dispute resolution platform is available for dispute resolution.
17. General Terms
17.1 These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship and neither party may bind the other without prior written consent.
17.2 Users may not use ollo or any of its affiliates' names, logos, or trademarks without prior written consent.
17.3 Intellectual property infringement notices should be sent to legal@askollo.com. Infringing content may be deleted and repeat infringer accounts terminated.
17.4 You may not assign or delegate any rights or obligations under these Terms. ollo may assign upon merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganisation.
17.5 We may amend these Terms from time to time with notice for material adverse changes. Your continued use after any change means you agree to such change.
17.6 No implied waiver of ollo rights if Terms are not complied with. Invalid terms are enforced to the maximum extent without affecting other terms.
17.7 ollo shall have the right to seek injunctive relief in addition to legal remedies for Term violations.
